TreatmentIn April of 2009 I changed my treatment plan and am still using that plan. It is a combination of the herb Mucuna Pruriens and Amino Acids. For more information please visit My Story Update page. I have chosen not to take any of the typical medication used for Parkinson’s treatment at this time. I have decided to use exercise, physical therapy, food and nutrition, along with alternative medicine, Glutathione IV therapy and CoQ10 supplements to help me in this fight against Parkinson's Disease. See My Story Update for information on how I am doing with regards to using the above Natural treatments. I have linked many alternative websites to this site under the websites button and alternative therapy button to the left. I recommend that you search as many sites as possible, to help you in this fight against this disease. I cannot recommend one particular site to you, but believe that you the Parkinson's patient or caretaker needs to read as much as possible to help yourself.

I have always been an advocate of Alternative medicine and have exercised regularly throughout my life... My mother gave me my first Nutrition book before she died in 1978. It was How to get well by Adele Davis. She was one of the first pioneers in alternative nutrition therapy. She seemed a bit unorthodox at the time; but it was my introduction to learning how nutrition can have an affect on the body and disease. I have read many, many books since then and find they all have had an influence on my decision to use Alternative therapies to help myself in the fight against Young Onset Parkinson's Disease. They give and sustain my HOPE for a brighter future... You may find these links helpful in finding books.
